London SAM

Cookie Policy

What cookies are present in the static London SAM launch build and what must change before non-essential technologies are added.

Current state: the supplied static website does not intentionally set non-essential cookies through its own JavaScript.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of data that a website or third-party service can store in a browser. Some cookies are necessary for a service to function; others may support analytics, advertising, personalisation or measurement.

Cookies in this package

The London SAM launch files use ordinary HTML, CSS and lightweight JavaScript for navigation, the slider, accordions and interface behaviour. Those features do not require a tracking cookie. Your production host or security layer may nevertheless set technical cookies, so deployment should be tested rather than assuming the final environment matches the source package.

Future advertising or analytics

If Google AdSense, analytics or any other non-essential technology is enabled, implement an appropriate consent mechanism for UK users where required and document the actual cookies and vendors. Do not deploy advertising tags first and write the policy later.

Managing cookies

Browsers provide controls for deleting or blocking cookies. Once production services are chosen, this page should also explain any site-specific consent control so readers can change their preference.
