Master of Business Administration

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is the world's best-known and most widely recognised post-graduate degree. It is considered as a passport to the higher echelons of management and leadership positions both in government as well as in the corporate world. Awarding body - University of Wales
Founded by Royal Charter in 1893, the University of Wales is the degree-awarding body for the vast majority of higher education students in Wales, as well as for many at other higher education institutions in the United Kingdom and overseas. The University confers around 15,000 initial degrees and more than 4,000 higher degrees each year, and is the second largest degree-awarding body in the United Kingdom.

The curriculum

The curriculum emphasises reality and assimilates on-the-job experiences. This MBA by Credit Transfer programme has been designed specifically for holders of the BTEC Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies (PgDMS) such that they may ‘top up’ their current management qualifications to the degree of Master of Business Administration awarded by the University of Wales. The MBA is the leading internationally recognised qualification for practising managers.

Assessment

The qualification is assessed through tutor-set assignments. All assessment decisions are internally verified and are then externally verified by the Awarding Body.
