| Provide a range of facilities designed to help students make educated and informed decisions about their futures after graduation. Students of all years are encouraged to use the service. Provides the library, computer, telephone and media services for all staff and students. |

| International Student Advice |
 |
Many students will need a visa in order to study in the UK. Please check your local British Embassy, British Council, British Consulate or British High Commission. |
| Students are requested to make all the travel arrangements in advance. Please remember to inform the School of your arrival date, giving details of the airline and flight number as well. In this way we will be able to receive you properly and have your accommodation and other items prepared for you. You will settle into London in the smoothest possible manner. |

| Academic English for International Students |

Entry Level Certificate English is a well-established course, which has been running successfully (as the Certificate of Achievement (CoA) in English) since 1998. |
| It is intended to cater for those candidates unlikely to achieve a grade in GCSE English and for post-16 candidates, including adult learners, who wish to gain an initial qualification in English. |
| The course is designed to enable candidates to progress either directly to employment or to Foundation Level courses within the National Qualification Framework. This course will enable candidates to develop understanding and basic skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. |

| Student Welfare |
London School of Accountancy & Management policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working and study conditions, high standards in equipment and operating systems for staff and students alike, and to provide such information, training and supervision as individuals need for that purpose. Welfare staff is on hand throughout normal school opening hours. Emergency staff can be contacted by telephone at weekends and overnight. All necessary medical arrangements are made for students who become unwell during their time in England. Emergency medical treatment is normally provided free of charge under the British National Health Service. |
| Religious Observance |
| Special arrangements enable students to observe their religious faith. Should special religious occasions need to be observed, School timetables are rescheduled accordingly. |

| Sports, Leisure & Recreation |
|
The LondonSAM ethos is based on the work hard, play hard principle. In addition to a sound and intensive academic programme, students are encouraged in every way possible to enjoy their leisure time to the full. The School has a varied and extensive social programme, which is organised in consultation with students. The college is surrounded by leisure centres with facilities for gym, swimming, table-tennis, badminton etc. |

Bank Account References |
On arrival at the College, students are advised on the procedure for opening a bank account in London and the necessary bank references are provided by the College. Students are recommended to carry with them a bank reference issued by the bank in their country of origin.

| Part Time Employment |
Full-time students are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during term-time, and any number of hours during vacations. The College provides an advisory service to students on how to find part-time jobs. |
| Medical Care for Overseas Students |
Overseas students enrolled on courses of more than six months’ duration are entitled to free hospital treatment through the UK National Health Service. All students must register with a local doctor. Students encountering any difficulties in obtaining medical care must consult the College immediately. |
