Course Information Course Delivery Assessment
This award is about the delivery of health and social care to clients. This includes both direct care, where the focus is hands-on-care (doing things for clients) and enablement care where the focus is on the development and maintenance of the client's independence (supporting and enabling clients to do things for themselves). The award is structured so that a candidate will achieve for mandatory units plus five optional units. < TOP > The learning materials are specially designed for learners to work through on their own with the help of a tutor/assessor who will assist them in their studies. Learners work through the support materials and complete activities and assessment for each unit. The tutor/assessor will also observer learners carrying out practical tasks during normal working hours in order that the requirements of each unit can be met.

Day Release Tuition Evening Tuition Revision Courses
This course is ideal for students who are about to take a day off a week to study. The courses require one day a week only (for 11 weeks), and is likely to be the same day each week, to enable students to plan for their business and personal commitments. < TOP >
Morning 10.00 am - 1.15 pm
Afternoon 2.00 pm - 5.15 pm		 If you are unable to attend the weekly classes, then the evening classes may be just right for you. Each paper is taught over 10 evenings (usually the same evening each week over a 10 week evening period). < TOP >
Evening 6.15 pm - 8.45 pm.		 These classes are 2/3 days in duration. The course provides students with the focus and exam approach to topics that are likely to be tested in the forthcoming examination. Exam technique, presentation and time allocation are emphasised. Revision classes can be either during the week or weekends all day (no evenings). < TOP >
Weekend Tuition Exemptions
We also offer tuition at weekends.
Morning 9.30 am - 1.30 pm
Afternoon 2.00 pm - 4.45 pm		 You can expect to receive exemptions if: you have a relevant degree or hold a relevant professional qualification.
