Asian Awards
The awards are instituted to recognize, reward and honour high achievers among British Asians. Over the years the Asian community has made a significant contribution to the growth of the UK economy and the rich cultural diversity of British society. During 2003 / 2004, in the city of London alone, there were 39,000 Asian owned businesses, with a turnover of nearly £60 billion and employing 300,000 people.
