About ABE
The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is a market leader in the cost-effective provision of quality assured British management education leading to awards which are valued in their own right, but which are also recognised as an accepted route onto the later stages of a number of UK and overseas professional or university qualifications.
Students receive award certificates at every stage of each programme (Certificate, Diploma Part 1/ Part 2 and Advanced Diploma), which means that if studies are discontinued after completing one of the stages, students will still have a valuable qualification that is recognised by employers.

ABE qualifications are recognised as accepted routes onto the later stages of a number of UK and overseas university qualifications, including Bachelor's and/or Master's degrees.
ABE is announcing its official recognition as an Awarding Body.
ABE recognition is granted by QCA (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority), the UK government’s education regulator.

In doing so, QCA accepts the quality of ABE’s processes, procedures, experience and expertise in delivering a high level of service.

QCA constantly monitors the performance of Awarding Bodies to ensure they continually meet high standards of service and ABE is confident that the criteria as laid down by QCA will be met at all time.

History of ABE
The Association of Business Executives was founded in 1973 by a group of industrialists, educationalists and politicians as a non-profit making institution. ABE’s aim was to become a market leader in the cost-effective provision of quality British management education leading to awards which were valued in their own right, but which were also recognised as an accepted route into the later stages of a number of UK and overseas professional or university institutions.

In order to take ABE exams, students must be registered members of the association.

Flexibility
ABE’s examination structure is flexible and allows students to complete the programme in a timescale most suitable to their own circumstances. There is no time limit in which to complete ABE qualifications. Flexibility
On successful completion of one of the ABE programmes, a second qualification can be achieved by completing a few additional subjects. For example, a student who attains the ABE Diploma in Business Administration only has to acquire two more modules to complete the ABE Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality. If, for any reason, students cannot continue with their studies, they can always take a break and resume the course when it is convenient for them.

Students can study for an ABE programme at an ABE accredited college or by self-study using ABE Study Manuals, recommended textbooks, subject syllabuses and Past Questions and Answers. If students move to another country, or another town in their own country, there will usually be an ABE accredited college nearby providing tuition facilities.

Cost Effectiveness

Student fees are highly competitive as ABE considers that it has a duty (especially to students in developing countries) to offer business and management education at an economical price. ABE is non-profit making organisation.

ABE qualifications are also recognised as accepted routes onto other UK and overseas professional qualifications. Holders of an ABE qualification may obtain subject exemptions in the examinations of these professional bodies.
